Jalila Ben Khelil, the spokesperson for the Coronavirus Scientific Committee, declared that the epidemiological situation in Tunisia is stationary, but that a new wave is anticipated at the beginning of 2023.
Ben Khelil said that the figures published by the Ministry of Health show an increase in the contamination rate which is 6.4% while it was 5% in November.
She explained that infection is not serious, but the application of barriers is still important.
