The president of the National Chamber of Booksellers, Jameleddine Dardour confirmed that the price of the subsidized notebook has not increased and stays unchanged from the price set last year.
He stressed the beginning of the manufacturing of new quantities of subsidized notebooks for the next school year 2022-2023 at the start of August, specifying that the distribution is scheduled for the end of this month.
Concerning the price of the non-subsidized notebook, Dardour expressed that its price has increased since January 2022, due to the increase in the cost of paper imported from abroad.
