Noureddine Ben Ayed was elected the new president of the Tunisian Union of Agriculture and Fisheries (UTAP, according to the minutes of the 9th session of the meeting of the Central Council of the agricultural organization, issued in the Official Journal of the Republic of Tunisia (JORT), June 17, 2022.
A designation that comes after a controversy that lasted for weeks, sparked by contradictory news between denial and confirmation of the withdrawal of confidence of the president of UTAP, Abdelmajid Ezzar, reports the TAP.
