The regional health directorate in Kairouan declared this Wednesday, October 7 that 51 new infections by the coronavirus have been recorded.
The number of infections has therefore risen to 583 since the opening of the borders on June 27, 2020, including 152 among medical and paramedical staff.
It should be noted that 12 deaths have been reported from the same date as well as 101 cases of recovery.
