A demonstration march over job and development requests organized in Hajeb El Ayoun at Kairouan. The movement jointed by inhabitants of Hajeb El Ayoun and delegates of civil society and national organisations saw yelling of slogans asking for the implementation of actions and decisions declared for the region by successive governments.
These incorporate the resolutions taken at the ministerial council in 2017, including setting up a cantonal court in Hajeb El Ayoun, turning the local hospital into a regional health facility and building a vocational training centre in the region. Partakers in the march also requested for the development of an industrial zone, funding for small farmers, enhanced administrative services, the extension of the drinking water network and the creation of cultural activities.
