During the National Security Council meeting, President of the Republic Kais Saied asserted that sub-Saharan migrants were well treated by all authorities concerned and were respected according to international human rights standards.
Saied added “We are Africans and we are proud of our belonging to Africa (…) We are operating to make Africa an Africa for Africans, but within the framework of the law (…) and we are working to enforce the law everywhere(…).” he clarified.
