Reflecting on the consequence of the spread of the coronavirus on the tourism sector, Karim Kamoun, the general manager of Tour operator Voyage 2000, announced that from the current month of September and due to the absence of local tourism, “approximately 85% of hotels in Tunisia will soon close ”.
Kamoun also denounced, on express FM, the deterioration of the ecological situation throughout the Tunisian territory, and in particular in tourist areas, indicating that the number of reservations made by foreign tourists has dropped considerably compared to the same period in previous years.
