Speaking to Tunisie Numérique, PDL Member Karim Karifa and part of Abir Moussi’s defence team disclosed that tests executed on a mobile phone related to Moussi confirmed the existence of a video supporting Moussi’s innocence, according to his evaluation.
Karifa noted that the 5-minute video confirms there was no break-in, showing Abir Moussi talking to a security official with politeness and respect. In the video, she informs the official that she will leave at the end of the evening class if he is not contacted concerning a registration office matter.
He highlighted the video’s importance in the case, stating that the defence team had consistently requested access to surveillance cameras, especially since Moussi faces severe charges, including the death penalty under Article 72 of the Penal Code for allegedly inciting people to carry weapons.
He reiterated that the video refutes claims of her storming the presidential palace and proves her innocence. Karifa called for the Investigative Judges to promptly decide on her release in light of this new evidence.
