The Regional Administration of Equipment and Housing in Tunis has notified all users of Habib Bourguiba Street in the town of La Goulette that, as part of the demolition and reconstruction work of the paving stones of the bridge crossing the Khaireddine canal on regional road 33, the bridge will be closed. Traffic will be temporarily redirected through Roosevelt Street beginning Tuesday, January 16, 2024, due to the construction of a pedestrian corridor.
The administration called on road users, citizens and visitors to the town of La Goulette to respect traffic and travel rules, to avoid untimely stopping of vehicles and to respect breakdowns.
