Member of Ennahdha shura council Larbi Gasemi announced that he was stepping down from the movement, to which he had entered since the mid-1970s and which was jailed for of this membership, and went into exile.
He stated that he had to resign because the party leadership appears to emphasise on pushing his executives, who dare to defy Gahnnouchi’s opinions, to resign and to set up in their places, in decision-making circles, strangers to the movement, and even, among are former enemies.
