Minister of Justice confirmed, during a hearing held yesterday Wednesday by the General Legislation Commission on the justice mission of the 2024 draft state budget that the bill amending chapter 411 of the Commercial Code, relating to sanctions for the issuance of bad checks, is in its final stage, adding that the ministry has adopted an all-around approach to reform the check system which ensures the rights of the creditor and debtor of one part and engages the responsibility of all parties involved.
The minister specified that the bill would be proposed for approval by the House of People’s Representatives as soon as possible after its presentation to the Council of Ministers.
