Tunisia-Local Elections: voter participation rate in Beja, Tataouine, Kasserine and Bizerte

As of noon on Sunday, December 24, 2023, the voter turnout rates for local elections in specific governorates are declared as follows:

  1. Béja: 6% participation at noon

    • Around 16,000 voters out of a total of 256,000 registered voters had partaken in Béja by midday.
  2. Tataouine: 3.8% turnout

    • Around 5,082 voters had cast their votes by midday in Tataouine, representing a turnout rate of about 3.8%.
  3. Kasserine: 7% turnout at the polls

    • The participation rate at the polls had reached 7% in the governorate of Kasserine by midday.
  4. Bizerte: 4% at midday

    • About 18,700 voters out of a total of 485,225 recorded on the electoral lists had voted in the local elections in Bizerte by midday, constituting a turnout of 4%.
