105 Tunisians had left the mandatory quarantine centre in Mahdia city after testing negative of COVID-19, Director of Preventive Healthcare at the Local Health Directorate in Mahdia Samir Lahouel told TAP on Monday.
The latter added that these Tunisians had returned from France’s Nice and had been subject to a medical follow-up with periodic sampling to check their health state.
The Mahdia mandatory quarantine centre is currently accomodating 27 Tunisians repatriated after having been stranded at the Tunisian-Libyan border crossing in Ras Jedir, the official indicated, specifying that they will complete their quarantine period next Friday.
