Speaking to Assabah newspaper, former MP and activist Majdi Karbai revealed that the living conditions of migrants in reception centres in Italy are humiliating and inhuman.
Karbai clarified that the Lampedusa reception centre houses a thousand illegal migrants while its actual capacity is 350 people.
He condemned the complete absence of the Tunisian state at the diplomatic and political levels, recalling that 12288 Tunisians have entered Italy, since the start of the year, out of a total of more than 58,000 migrants.
