The regional director of health in Manouba, Nabila Kaddour announced that 60 new infections by the coronavirus were reported Tuesday after the publication of the results of the analyzes carried out during the last three days (10, 11 and 12 October).
In a statement to the TAP ,he indicated that these new cases were identified in the delegations of Manouba, Douar Hicher, Jedaida, Oued Ellil, Mornaguia and Borj El Amri.
Among these cases, are 6 detected among health workers in Oued Ellil and 8 with teachers. Therefore, the total number of positive cases in the governorate has risen to 618 people since the spread of the pandemic.
In addition, 4 deaths were registered on Tuesday in the delegations of Tébourba, Manouba and El Batan, bringing the death tally to 22.
In terms of recovery cases, 55 new people have recovered from the infection, bringing the total number of recovered patients in the governorate to 222.
According to the same source, 375 people are currently under self-isolation and three more patients are admitted to hospitals.
Contaminations are distributed as follows: Manouba (148 cases), Oued Ellil (68 cases), Tébourba (45 cases), Mornaguia (44 cases), Douar Hicher (39 cases), Jedaida (22 cases), Borj El Amri (7 cases) and El Batan (5 cases)
