President of the Republic, Kais Saïed, received Prime Minister, Ahmed Hachani, this Thursday, at Carthage Palace.
The vertiginous rise in prices, the partial or total shortage of certain basic necessities were at the centre of this meeting.
In this context, Saïed indicated that the competent parties must assume their responsibilities and dismantle the networks which act in the shadows and attempt to provoke social tensions.
The Head of State emphasised that some parties intentionally hinder citizens’ access to the most basic administrative services and that the Tunisian State has the necessary legal means to prosecute them.
