Tunisia – Menzel Temime: Corpse of newborn thrown into a plastic bag found

Officers from the Menzel Temime National Guard District identified and apprehended a young woman guilty of dumping the corpse of her newborn baby. The newborn was found thrown into a plastic bag, in an area near Menzel Temime.

Suspicions were directed toward a young woman working in a factory in the region, who, during her interrogation, admitted to giving birth and throwing the body as it was dead born.

The prosecution ordered her arrest, pending the results of the autopsy, to know the real reasons for the death.
