The General Directorate of Military Justice disclosed in a press release the opening of an inquiry into the statements made by journalist Salah Attia on Al Jazeera channel. The latter had declared that the national army rejected the order of the President of the Republic, Kais Saïed, to surround the premises of the UGTT and to assign certain of its leaders home residence.
It should be recollected that UGTT sources had denied these allegations.
