Tunisia-Ministry of Agriculture: 4 employees sentenced to 6 years in prison

The Criminal Chamber of the Tunis Court of First Instance convicted four workers in one of the departments of the Ministry of Agriculture to six years in prison and a fine of 300,000 dinars each, for the appropriation of money and property. , made available to them, by virtue of their work.

At the conclusion of an inventory, a central accountant of the Ministry of Agriculture realized that the four offenders had seized a number of fertilizers and pesticides from the warehouses of the ministry and had sold them.

He promptly lodged a complaint with the competent judicial authorities. The value of the stolen products is valued at tens of thousands of dinars, Mosaïque FM reported.
