The Ministry of Commerce declared that 3,570 economic violations were registered during 17,305 economic control operations during the first 6 days of Ramadan. 59.5% of these offences primarily concern vegetables and fruits, 29.2% relate to food products while 6.6% represent the bakery sector.

- 3375 liters of subsidized vegetable oil
- 255.5 quintals of subsidized flour
- 206 kg of semolina
- 63 kg of pasta
- 2710 kg of peppers
- 1558 kg of tomatoes
- 142 kg of rice
- 437 kg of subsidized sugar
- 1872 kg of white meat
- 1811 cigarette packs
- 1.2 tons of fodder
