The Ministry of Trade declared on Tuesday that it has been decided to fix the maximum prices imposed for the sale of potatoes and poultry, from tomorrow, Wednesday, September 1, 2021. Therefore, the selling price of a kilo of potatoes will be 1 dinar for refrigerators, 1200 wholesale and 1380 for the public.
All those included in the supply of potatoes must continue to supply the markets with the required stocks and comply with organized sales and purchasing channels. For the owners of the storage refrigerators and the carriers, they need to present what supports their activity and the documents which show that they respect the organized circuits.
For poultry, the price of pre-cooked chicken has been set at 6 dinars per kilo at slaughterhouses and 6,900 for the public. For the turkey cutlet, its price is 11,700 dinars for slaughterhouses and 13,500 for the public.
In a statement, the ministry established the profit margin for poultry derivatives at 15%.
