The Deputy Secretary-General of the health union in Monastir announced that the number of healthcare workers infected with COVID in Monastir has reached 240 cases, between doctors and paramedics.
She said this figure represents a quarter of infections among healthcare workers across the country.
She added that 16 health workers have died from COVID in the Monastir region.
