Tunisia-More than 133 thousand students to sit for Baccalaureate exam tomorrow

More than 133 thousand students will sit for the Baccalaureate exam beginning Wednesday, with a severe health protocol in prevention against COVID-19, approved by the Ministry of Education.

The number of applicants registered in public high schools attains 106,800, versus 20 thousand in private schools and 6,684 external applicants, announced Director of examinations at the Ministry of Education Mohamed Mili .

Female candidates, with 79,577 students, outnumber male applicants: 53,866, he stressed.

This session witnessed a reduction in the number of candidates registered in public schools: 106,802 against 107,517 last year.

The number of candidates enlisted in private schools rose from 18,583 last year to 19,557 candidates this year, while the number of external students has climbed from 5,807 last year to 6,684 candidates during this session.
