A couple was wounded in the explosion of a gas cylinder in their home in the Al-Kazmat district of the Msaken delegation, in Sousse. They sustained third-degree burns, according to a statement from the official spokesperson for civil protection, Brigadier General Moez Teriaa. The blast also caused fractures and head trauma to the woman.
Triaa clarified that the gas spread throughout the house due to an oversight and leaving the gas cylinder open, and that it exploded as soon as the woman pressed the gas button lighting.
