Qalb Tounes President Nabil Karoui denied being involved in corruption files.
Speaking at Watania ,Karoui pointed out that all files that concern him is with the investigating judge and have not been transferred to the court, indicating that he has never dealt with the state, accordingly he could not have stolen them.
He revealed that the issue is associated to his companies, noting that his companies, like thousands of companies in Tunisia, experience from economic problems, and thus a delay in paying taxes was recorded, which is the reason for imprisoning him.
