Tunisia-National Guard nnounaces having stopped 1,878 sub-Saharan nationals from illegally entering Tunisia in four days

The General Directorate of the National Guard today issued the results of four days (September 15, 16, 17 and 18) of the fight against illegal migration.

Maritime Guard units thwarted 117 attempts at illegal migration. They rescued 2,507 migrants of different nationalities, including 581 Tunisians. Maritime Guard units apprehended 62 people involved in this trafficking and 12 people subject to wanted notices.

At the land borders, National Guard units thwarted 23 illegal crossing attempts. Remark that Guard units stopped 1,878 people of sub-Saharan nationalities from illegally entering Tunisia.
