The director-general of the National Observatory of New and Emerging Diseases Nissaf Ben Alaya declared the measures to be observed for travellers arriving in Tunisia
Speaking at a press conference, she said that people who have tested positive for the virus and those who have received two doses of the vaccine do not have to submit a PCR test onboarding and do not have to observe mandatory quarantine in the hotel.
Travellers who have not performed the vaccination process must present a negative PCR test carried out 72 hours before arrival on Tunisian territory and adhere to self-isolation in the hotel, she added.
Nissaf Ben Alaya further spoke of the intensification of random checks on land borders.
