After active inquiry, Only 15% displayed symptoms of COVID-19 in Gabes while the rest are asymptomatic which can cause local infection director of the National Observatory for New and Emerging Diseases Nissaf Ben Alaya told El Watania 1.
She affirmed that mobile medical teams are operating on conducting active tracking in order to identify the infected in Gabes, calling in this context the citizens to help the health authorities in their work.
She indicated that active investigation contributes to preventing COVID- 19 by isolating infected cases.
She further called citizens to adhere to health measures.
