Director of the National Observatory of New and Emerging Diseases Nissaf Ben Alaya affirmed the launching of active investigations of the factory in which infections were recorded, including people that came in contact with those infected with the Coronavirus.
Speaking to Mosaique FM, she stressed that regional teams are seeking to investigate 10 % of El Hamma residents, adding that priority will be given to black zones.”Yesterday, more than 400 samples were collected, and all the infected are on their way to the Monastir centre, most of them are in good condition”, she added.
The most crucial task today is to stop the cycle of the virus spread, and the epidemiological situation in El Hamma requires full compliance with measures, she stressed.
She called upon El Hamma residents to avoid wedding, crowds, wear masks, wash hands and adhere to health protocols as well as social distancing.
