In remembrance of the 15th marked anniversary of the death of Palestinian President Yasser Arafat “Abu Ammar“, Tunisia has reiterated its firm backing for the Palestinian cause and the official establishment of an independent state with Al-Quds “Jerusalem” as its capital,reported the TAP agency.
In a statement issued ,the Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned “the strains of the deceased and his first-generation comrades to re-establish Palestinian law and defend it generation after generation, through the struggle of the Palestinian people and a massive number of martyrs”,
“Abu Ammar has promptly led the Palestinian struggle for more than four marked decades and has fiercely devoted his life to the leading cause of his country and people,” the statement positively asserted.
Tunisia reaffirmed its steadfast devotion to supporting the Palestinian people, requesting on the international community and the parties involved to push the occupation to comply with resolutions of international legitimacy, in particular, those of the United Nations Security Council.
Tunisia displayed the conviction that the determination of the Palestinian people will ultimately pre-wash away “no matter how serious the crises, adversity and aggression.“
