Tunisia-Parliament inaugural session to kick off tomorrow

The second legislative term 2019-2024 will kick off tomorrow with The House of People’s Representatives (HPR) officially beginning its first inaugural session for the term.The session will begin with the house speaker Abdelfattah Mourou speech address.

The chairman of the assembly will then be allocated to the oldest member. His deputies will be chosen from the youngest of the elect (a man and a woman).

The session will then proceed to read the names of the new deputies on the basis on the results announced by the Independent High Authority for Elections”ISIE”.

Deputies will then be set to take the constitutional oath for the new parliamentary term.The members of the electoral committee in command of calculating votes and administration of the voting process will be then selected. The commission will comprise 7 members according to the proportional representation.
