At the conclusion of his meeting Ereyesterday with the representatives of the parties forming his political support in the parliament, prime minsiter Hichem Mechichi appears to have chosen to calm things down and smoothly resolve his differences with the President of the Republic Kais Saied.
Indeed, sources close to the presidency of the government affirmed to Tunisie Numérique that PM Mechichi had requested a meeting with the head of the state and that he is still anticipating the latter’s response.
The interview would strive to obtain a solution to the constitutional deadlock created by the Head of State’s opposition to finalize the process of appointing new ministers, our source reported.
