The police intervened yesterday in the early evening, before the curfew time, in a tourist residence in Kalaâ Kobra. It apprehended some 400 young people who were frequenting a private party there.
Police combed the area and reportedly discovered a quantity of drugs, the nature of which has not been revealed.
The young men were held there for numerous hours, and the police conducted laboratory tests on everyone to detect those in the audience who had used drugs.
The operation took place in the attendance of representatives of the prosecution. It ended in the arrest of 11 people, including the owner of the establishment, who is, furthermore, a municipal councillor, as well as the organizer of the party.There were foreigners among the young people incarcerated.
