Tunisia-President Kais Saied congratulates new US President elect Joseph Biden

President of the republic Kais Saied, on Sunday, conveyed a celebratory message to President Joe Biden on his election as President of the United States of America.

The Head of State extended to President Biden his most cordial salutes and sincere wishes for prosperity in his duties to lead the American people towards more progress and prosperity, the Presidency announced in a statement.

The President of the Republic highlighted the long-standing historical relationships tying Tunisia with the US, asserting readiness to farther increase them and enhance the prospects of strategic cooperation between the two countries in the interest of the two peoples, according to the statement.

He also pointed to the assistance provided by the United States to Tunisia in building the democratic process and the common values ​shared by both countries and that are based on belief in freedom, democracy and justice.

President Kais Saied also repeated the keenness to continue working together to further improve the relations of cooperation, friendship and continuous consultations between the two countries.
