Twenty-six executives and officers of the various corps of the Ministries of National Defense and Interior were decorated on Tuesday with the insignia of the Order of Fidelity and Sacrifice by President Kaïs Said during a ceremony held Tuesday at the Carthage Palace.
This tribute comes in recognition of their participation in the successful security operation that took place in the Kasserine heights and led to the neutralisation of two terrorists at the end of February, but also for all the security achievements aimed at eradicating terrorism and crime.
“It is also part of the efforts made by the security and military forces to defend and preserve the country’s integrity,” said the President of the Republic.
On this occasion, the Head of State expressed his encouragement to the members of the security and military institutions, while stressing the State’s willingness to provide them with more support at all levels.
The decorated executives and officers received the insignia of “Grand Officer”, “Commander”, “Officer” and “Chevalier” under the “Order of Fidelity and Sacrifice”.
