Tunisia-President of the Republic celebrates National Tree Day at Maha Gadhgadhi school

On the occasion of the National Tree Day, President Kais_Saied planted an olive tree in the Maha Gadhgadhi School in Battah, Fernana, where he examined the recently finalized construction work and renovations.

Upon his arrival, the President of the Republic was briefed on the new bridge near the school, which was built by the General Administration of Military Engineering.

He then visitted the school  where he inscpted  the various parts of this educational institution, which embedded  a new look, following a visit on September 15th, and granting permission to the Ministry of Defense to commence the construction of a bridge to protect pupils from the dangers of the valley course adjacent to the school and to repair and prepare all the components of the school, In addition to  the Presidency of the Republic, providing the necessary equipment for the administration and the educational framework and the acquisition of school tools for all the 350 pupils.

Since September 20, the Ministry of Defense has initiated all construction and preparation work, including building a bridge, restoring the school’s lighting system, painting it, rebuilding broken windows, flooring the media room and equipping it with a set of computers, in addition to designing a space that shields students from the sun’s heat, rain and cold winter. The school likewise witnessed the rehabilitation of the flag square as well as the arrangement of the school perimeter and paving the road leading to it.

The President of the State praised all the executives and agents of the Ministry of National Defense, particularly the General Administration of Works and the General Administration of Military Engineering, for their works to build in less than two months, which made the school a model. He similarly valued the efforts of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Agriculture, Water Resources and Fishing. He also honoured the efforts of the General Administration of Forests and everyone who supported the efforts of the Presidency of the Republic to achieve all that was accomplished in record time.

The President of the Republic emphasised the necessity for determination and will to challenge obstacles, considering that what the sons of the military establishment have done is a model that should be emulated by many.
He emphasised that the future of Tunisia lies in human wealth, so we need to provide young people with all the reasons for success.
During this visit, the Head of State spoke with a number of people and listened to their demands, accenting his keenness to continuously follow up in order to obtain a solution to their problems, foremost of which is the problem of water inadequacy , which many other regions of the Republic also complain about.
