President of the Republic Kaïs Saïed welcomed the father of martyr Chokri Belaïd, Salah Belaïd, and his brother Abdelmajid Belaïd at Carthage Palace.
The meeting concentrated on “the disclosure of the truth regarding the assassination of Chokri Belaïd, the judgment of those accountable within the framework of the application of the law to all, without exceptions, and the respect of the independence of justice,” declared Abdelmajid Belaïd.
He correspondingly affirmed the “determination of the President of the Republic to expose the truth about the assassinations, including the case of Chokri Belaïd, and to hold accountable all those implicated in the assassination, its cover-up or the manipulation of the file at the level of the Ministry of Justice.
He added, “the Head of State has affirmed that he does not interfere in judicial matters and has urged on the independence of justice, but he desires it to be fair justice for all, without exception.
