The Group of Regional Coordination of construction site employees over 45 and under 55 have, in a press release, affirmed their attachment to their right to be recruited in three phases between 2024 and 2026.
The Group called on the prime minister to order ministries to carry out an inventory of vacant positions and to set construction site workers over 45 and under 55 in their current positions.
Construction site workers, adds the same source, have demanded an increase in their wages and an increase in the minimum wage.
Finally, the Group of regional coordination of construction workers called for a national mobilization on April 16 to demand their rights before the Presidency of the Government.
