Customs units in Ras Jedir successfully stopped an attempt to smuggle gold jewellery equaling 2,127.2 grams in addition to 670 packs of cigarettes hidden in a vehicle driven by a Tunisian national.
A report of seizure was recorded for attempted smuggling of goods valued at 340,000 dinars. The driver of the vehicle was detained.
