In a statement to Tunisie Numérique, the regional director of Commerce in Béja, Yosri Damergi, declared that the services of the regional directorate of Commerce concentrate during the economic control operations they carry out on basic food products, specifying that speculators conceal subsidized vegetable oil in warehouses.
He slammed certain practices applied by vendors which consist of conditional sales; the sale of certain food products on the condition that other products are purchased at the same time.
