President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed, welcomed, on Tuesday, Minister of Education Fathi Sellaouti. The meeting examined the start of the new school year.
Saïed likewise voiced his profound dissatisfaction with the scandal of textbooks that were loaded with faults and mistakes.
Saïed deplored that we are still correcting grammar faults in the school programs when we should be reforming the entire system.
Saïed requested the Minister to identify the officials of this scandal, who gave the green light for these textbooks, without having taken the trouble to reread and correct them.
