The Council of the independent higher body for elections (ISIE) unanimously decided to declare a post-vacation in its composition after the withdrawal of its members “Sami Ben Slama”.
This is a measure decreed in accordance with the provisions of article 16 paragraph 2 of organic law n ° 2012-23 of December 20, 2012, linking to the ISIE, as modified later by Decree-law n ° 22-22 of April 21, 2022.
The ISIE likewise said that Sami Ben Slama was officially and legally removed from his status as a member from the publication of this decision, recollecting as such that the member concerned is targeted by criminal proceedings.
