Tunisia-Sousse: Security Officer accused of robbery arrested

Imen Ben Hamida, the spokesman for the Sousse 2 court of the first instance affirmed that a  presidential security guard and another individual were detained for using a service weapon by threatening a couple in a robbery.

In a statement to Tunisie Numérique, Hamida said that the detainees will stand in front of court next Tuesday, a search warrant was issued for third accomplice who is on the run, she added.

 

Ben Hamida added that the security guard was intoxicated at the time of the robbery. Two individuals were with him. At first, the man demanded his victim for his vehicle papers before threatening him with the gun.
