Tunisia-Students at Tunisian School in Qatar send open letter to President of the Republic

Students from the Tunisian School in Doha, Qatar, sent an open letter to the President of the Republic Kais Saied. They are requesting acceptance of their 2024 baccalaureate application files.

“We are shocked by the rejection of the Minister of Education to accept our requests to register for the 2024 baccalaureate exams…”, reads the letter.

We are attached to our State, its people, its education system and our constitutional right relating to enrollment for the June 2024 baccalaureate session. We ask for your intervention… We still do not know the true reasons for this obstacle…” it adds.

These students also requested the Head of State to order the Ministry of Education to accept their requests and to consider this school as a place that belongs to the Tunisian State in Qatar.

“Mr. President, we are convinced that you will be at our side to support our right to education and registration for the 2024 baccalaureate,” we read at the end of the letter.
