The Ministry of Education stated that, as part of the preparation for the second round of local elections, planned for Sunday, February 4, 2024, and to secure appropriate conditions in educational establishments for the smooth conduct of the electoral process, it was decided, exceptionally, to suspend classes in all primary schools, middle schools and public institutes, for the complete day of Saturday, February 3, 2024.
The Ministry adds in a press release that classes will resume naturally and according to the usual schedules, on Monday, February 12, 2024.
