Prime minister designate Habib Jemli is under tremendous pressure, affirmed UGTT Secretary-general Noureddine Taboubi.
In a media statement, he earnestly requested Ennahdha to unleash PM Jemli hands and allow him to work independently.
He promptly accused the Islamic party of barring the work of Habib Jemli and binding his hands and options, by wanting at all costs, to gain ministerial portfolios to some of its leaders under the premise of attempting to pass them off as independents.
In the same context, Taboubi called to accelerate the formation of the government to ensure the continuity of the state, adding that consultations have taken a long time and the circumstances cannot continue any longer.
