Speaking to Shems FM,Second deputy Speaker of The House of People’s Representatives “HPR” Tarak Ftiti said that it’s possible to delegate powers to prime minister Hichem Mechichi to better facilitate the manging of state affairs in relation to the COVID-19 crises.

He also admitted to having consulted with the president of the National Reform parliamentary group Hsouna Nasfi on the potentiality to submit an initiative by MPs in order to delegate powers to the PM.

He pointed out that the crossing of exceptional procedures in Parliament after the spread of the Coronavirus and the registration of infections among the ranks of MPs and some administrators cannot be applied except by a decision from the Crisis Cell in cooperation with the Ministry of Health.
