Coronavirus requires, the 2021 finance bill the suspension of recruitments in the public service with the exception of certain sectors and the non-replacement of retirees.
The PLF also sets a threshold for the number of recruitments and for the number of civil servants and agents working in the public sector.
This threshold has been set at 644,772 employees in ministries, public establishments, public enterprises, etc.) knowing that the state budget project for the year 2021 provides for the recruitment of 16,500 people.
These will consist of targeted recruitments which will concern the departments of education, health, security, defence and justice mainly.
According to the draft state budget, 6,260 positions are planned in the education sector, of which 2,986 related to the recruitment of substitute teachers, 1,000 positions for the recruitment of substitute secondary teachers and 2,574 positions reserved for holders of the applied license. .
The interior ministry is expected to recruit 6,000 training school graduates and 3,344 positions are earmarked for the defense ministry for graduates of military schools.
In addition, 364 recruitments are reserved for the Ministry of Justice (244 magistrates’ posts and 120 posts in the penitentiary services) and 450 others in various posts.
