Tunisia-The Order of Tunisian Engineers to go on a strike

The Order of Tunisian Engineers promptly decided to on an organized strike On September 11, 2019, in Mohamed Ali Square in the capital.
The strike comes as a direct response to excluding engineers in public establishments from wage increase conventions signed between the local government and the Tunisian General Labour Union.
The order declared that engineers will protest in front of the Tunisian General Labour Union regional headquarters.
Furthermore, in a meeting organized on Saturday the order chose to establish a crisis cell to oversee the physical and moral status of engineers working in public institution to incorporate them in the proposed increases.
