Tunisia-The UGET rejects the decision to impose the vaccine Pass on students

The General Union of Students of Tunisia (UGET) rejected the decision connecting to the imperative to present a health vaccination passport in order to be capable to take the exams.

The UGET General Secretary Warda Atig told the TAP  agency that the UGET will initiate different forms of activism to combat this decision, believing that this action will deprive unvaccinated students of their right to take exams. The UGET was among the first to request the generalization of vaccination for the profit of students and the teaching staff, added the same source calling on students to go to vaccination centres to benefit from the required doses.

Learners will take the exams of the first semester in a week, while they are obliged to show the health passport to be able to access university establishments in accordance with decree number 1 relating to the imperative to present a vaccine passport against Covid-19, which came in force on December 22.
